How to not lose yourself in relationships
Participate in hobbies without our partner/loved ones.
retaining our sense of self, not allowing our individuality to become completely erased.
Find a balance between focussing on our needs as well as the needs of the relationship.
However, that does not mean you must betray yourself e.g. do something you know you inherently cannot or do not want to do/be to make them happy.
Maintain your social network.
Make them aware of your needs and voice any concerns - even if it may result in a potentially difficult conversation.
Take time to reflect independently - listen to your gut instinct and ask yourself truthfully how you are finding the relationship at present.
Remember you are more than your romantic relationships. You are worthy with or without them.
