How to become more decisive
Number One: 30 Seconds rule
Begin with small decisions like what you are going to eat today or wear. Give yourself only thirty seconds, which makes you speed up and consider small decisions faster.
Number Two: There is no wrong decision
The fear of making bad decisions is holding us back. For example, someone may think quitting their job was a wrong decision, but then they end up meeting the love of their life at their new job. Do not judge yourself for your past decisions. You tried your best with the knowledge that you had at the time.
Number Three: Limit your options
The less options you have the faster the decision will be made. Limit your choices in most of the areas in your life like what you eat or watch everyday.
Number Four: Clear Goals
It is easier to make decisions once you have a vision of your goals. Journalling and asking yourself questions or writing down your thoughts in general can help.
Number Five: Ask for advice
Limit the number of people you would ask for advice regarding decisions. Choose only a few people who you trust and value their opinions, because too many opinions can make us easily overthink.
